New Admissions
City Central School was started by the Gurukulam Educational Society on June 12th 2002 with the aim of providing quality education; It is a co-educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The administration of the school is vested with the society which is a charitable body registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Act.
The main objective of our school is to mould the students into perfect men, women and upright citizens. For this the school imparts a high standard of teaching, discipline, moral and social values by giving ample importance to extra curricular activities.
The School is situated in the Sylvan surroundings, in a serene atmosphere with an enchanting view of the Ashtamudi lake at Uliyakovil. just three kilometers from Chinnakkada.
The course is of 12 years duration and prepares students for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination of Central Board of Secondary Education.
Admissions and Withdrawal
Admissions are taken by applying in the specified application form issued from the school office.
For the issuing of the Transfer certificate an application form must be filled & submitted at the school office at least 15 days earlier. All dues should be cleared before applying for T.C.
Fee structure
The City Central School is purely a self-financing school that receives no aid either from the State or the Central Governments. Therefore, the fee alone should be expected to meet all the expenses for the running and development of this school.
The first instalment of fee should be paid before May 30th The failure will lead to the automatical removal of the child’s name from the roll .
Open house (Parent-teacher Meeting)
The first Saturday of every month (9.30–12 noon) is the meeting of teachers with parents. If the first saturday happens to be a holiday, the Open House will be conducted on the Second Saturday of that month. ‘Test paper Books’ will not be send home. Parents can check it during the open house. Let it be made meaningful by co-operating with the school in its attempt to help your child to progress.
